What We Believe
The divine inspiration of the Holy Scriptures , both the Old and the New testaments. It is the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God. 2Tim. 3:16, 2Peter 1:21, John 10:35.
The Divine Trinity that consists of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit perfectly united as One.Matt.3:16-17, 1John 5:5.
Repentance as a deep feeling of remorse for our sins and actively turning everyone from sin by continuously setting our hearts and minds to follow God. Ps. 51:3-4, Isaiah 55:7, Acts 26:18.
• Restitution is subsequential to salvation whereby wrongs against fellow men are righted in order to have clear conscience before God and man. Exo. 22:1; 2Sam.12:7; Exo. 33:15; Matt. 5:23-24; Lk. 19:2-10
• Regeneration as a means that a person receives a new nature from God. John 3:3-5, 2Cor. 5:17, Eph. 4:22-24.
• Justification as God’s divine act of moving a person out of the place of guilt and God’s wrath into a place of innocence before God and into a loving relationship with Him. Romans 3:24-26, Romans 5:1-12.
• Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the promised outpouring of God’s Spirit upon all whom the Lord calls. Acts 2:29-40; John 16:12-15. The experience is evidenced by speaking in tongues and the manifestation of the fruit and diverse gifts of the Spirit. Gal. 5:22-23.
• Divine Healing of the Body is God’s promise to the believers as a part of the completed work of Christ on Calvary, Exo. 15:26, Isa. 53:5, 1Pet. 2:24.
• The Lord’s Super as a primary ordinances ordained by Jesus Christ to remind the believers of God’s commitment to, and covenant with His people through Christ until He returns. Matt. 26:26-29, 1Cor. 11:23-26, Mk. 14:22, 24, 1Cor.10:18-22.
• Water Baptism is the total immersion in the water as a ceremony that celebrates the initiation of a believer into the community of the body of Christ. Matt. 3:15, Rom. 6:1-14, Acts 2:38; Mk. 16:16.
• Marriage an institution that is divinely ordained to be subject to divine rules and restraints for the purpose of comfort of human life and the decent and honourable propagation of the human race. Gen. 12:18-25; Heb. 13:4; Mal. 2:16, Rom. 7:2-3.Marriage is between a man and a woman.
• Second Coming of Jesus Christ as the reigning ruling Messiah, whose kingdom is to be a literal reign on the earth. Isa.9:6-7; 11:1; 66:15, Zech. 12:10; 13:6; 14:1. Christ’s second coming includes two phases: His coming in the air to rapture His waiting Bride Jn.14:3; 1Cor15:51-53; 1Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 16:15 and His coming to rule over the nations of the world Zech. 14:1; Rev. 20:4-6 and execute judgment upon the ungodly. 1Thess:17-10; Jude 14:15.
• The Tribulation refers to the period of the revelation of the “man of sin” i.e. the Antichrist shortly after the RAPTURE of the bride of Christ leading up to and signalling the return of Christ to earth in judgment. It will be a worldwide period of affliction, distress and terrible suffering. Matt. 24:21; 29-30; 1Thess. 2:3; Dan. 9:27, Rev. 13:12; Isa. 26:20-21
- The Millennial Reign the confinement of Satan for a considerable space of time to enhance a peaceful and prosperous reign of Christ and His saints on earth for a thousand years. Rev. 20:1-10; Dan. 7:9; Matt. 19:28; 1Cor. 6:2.
- The Great White Throne Judgment is a final judgment of God of all the dead ones of all ages. Rev. 20:11-15.
- The New Heaven and the New Earth The final goal and expectation of all faithful believers in a new transformed and redeemed earth Rev. 21:1-3; Isa. 65; 66:22.
• Eternal Heaven and Eternal Hell, the final destinations of both the righteous and unrighteous respectively, both as eternal as God. Matt.:9 Ps. 135:6; Dan. 4:35; Rev. 19:20; 20:8,10, 14-15.
